Good atmosphere, nice staff, beautiful setting and good food. Perfect for 80th birthday celebrations.
Well positioned for views, large seating areas, good fast service, friendly staff, food is OK, not the best but decent enough. Portions are fine for those with a small appetite, which suited is on the good value for money 2 for the price of one section. On the whole a good family restaurant/pub with a nice atmosphere. Only mentioned I'd lots of tartare sauce and I received 3 pots of it, couldn't ask for more. Outdoor seating and children's play area safely fenced in and clearly visible from inside with large picture windows.
Greene King Pub, location in Wingerworth next to a wonderful pond. Went there for a lunch with my grandparents and my little one. I had a lunch deal contains sandwiches, chips and drinks for a fabulous price. My little one got kid meal deal which includes meal, pudding and a drink. All of us finished our meals. I believe that standard of dishes are correctly reflect the prices which is cheap and cheerful. Speedy service too. When it opened at 12pm, lots of people waiting to go in which tell you about the place. Definitely will come back soon
Spent New year's Eve there, the food was lovely, the staff very attentive. There was a disco on and little ones could stay all night so was perfect for us. Had a great night. Will definitely go again.
Lovely food at a good price. U get a lot of food for the money. Comfy seating with plenty of room around the tables. U can see the pond out of the windows beautiful and a lovely walk around the pond after your food. Photo is of one of the starters.
